Go-Go's - Vacation

On this date in 1982, The Go-Go's released their fourth single, "Vacation". It was backed by "Beatnick Beach". Both songs appeared on their second album, Vacation. The single reached the #8 spot on the U.S. singles chart but did not chart in the U.K. The Los Angeles new wave all-girl band broke up in 1985 but re-formed in 1990 and are still performing.
