10 books of various lengths read in the month, which keeps pace with the year-end target. I just need to maintain until the end of the year.
February consisted of the worst book read in a long, long while. I can't actually recall a 1 star read since the blog started.......Chester Himes - you own it!

7 of the 10 were new-to-me authors. Himes, Putnam and Evanoberg (or is it Goldvich, I forget) have all been read previously.
2 of the 10 were short reads,
5 of the 10 came courtesy of Net Galley as I try to catch-up,
2 were paperbacks, 1 was a printed PDF (a short story before all the tree huggers send me abuse), 7 were Kindle reads.
7 were from this decade, 1 from the 50's (boo, hiss), 1 from the 80's and 1 from the 90's
8 Americans, 1 Scottish and 1 English author,
9 and a half were male, half a read was female (could do much better - deja-vous)
1 - 1 star, 7 x 4 stars and 2 x 5 star reads, vying for the supreme accolade of Col's Criminal Library January Pick of the Month .......Crider or Putnam, Putnam or Crider?
