Magical Musical Luminous Witches Adds New Character to Its Ranks

 

The musical stars of Luminous Witches have a squad leader in Gracie!

 

The upcoming anime, a tenth anniversary project in the World Witches series that began with Strike Witches, revealed the character design for Grace Maitland Stewart. Gracie is a retired Witch who, after leaving active duty, wanted to use the power of music to aid in battle. To that end, she established the show's central Music Squadron. She serves at the girls' captain and manager.

 

 

As with the rest of the cast, Gracie's roots are in wartime entertainment. She is based on movie star Jimmy Stewart, who served in the US Air Force, starred in recruitment films, and went on to become one of the founders of the Air Force Association.

 

No voice actress has yet been confirmed for Gracie.

 

 

Luminous Witches introduces the LNAF Aviation Magic Band, a squadron of Witches who provide support with music. The series is due to premiere sometime in 2021.
